Hong Kong’s breakfast of champions

In Hong Kong, a typical breakfast at a “cha chan tang” (quick, cheap cafes/eateries) includes instant noodles, spam and egg. I grew up on this, along with egg and ham sandwiches (with toasted bread, of course) and macaroni. A breakfast like this, plus a hot drink, will cost you about $2 USD, if that. Ah, the wonders of Hong Kong food, it’ll always bring me back home.
